Paragliding and free fly in Semonzo and Monte Grappa

Monte Grappa is one of the busiest areas of Europe for the practice of free fly, and in particular of the paraglider. The area that includes Romano d'Ezzelino, Santa Felicita Valley, Semonzo and Borso del Grappa is particularly suitable to the practice of this sport. The shape of the mountains protect this area from the winds from the north. Furthermore, the connections with the take-off points is extremely easy and fast, thanks to the network of existing roads. The presence of many flat areas to land and air currents make the Grappa area a unique place for those who want to practice paragliding.

In 1995 Semonzo hosted the Italian league of paragliding, and on 2004 has hosted the Paragliding World Cup.
